The Gen 3 was originally engineered to work with the “Pro-Cap”, which contained a RFID tag that communicated volume information with the misting unit controller.  MistAway obsoleted that technology at the end of 2009.

To upgrade the Gen 3 to a Gen 3+ requires new firmware in the controller.  Please call MistAway Technical Support to begin the process.
