Gen 3 Backflow Prevention
Although the Gen 3 tankless unit connects directly to a water faucet, a RPZ (reduced pressure zone) valve is not required to be installed to prevent contamination of the water supply.
The Gen 3 is engineered with an air gap that exceeds the relevant requirements as set out in the National Standard Plumbing Code.
